upholstery, anyone?

As if I needed any more inspiration, these chairs are making me REALLY want to learn re-upholstery.  Any suggestions on how to get started?

There are so many great old chairs on craigslist dying to be given new life!

Check out design*sponge for more great before & afters.

  1. Ooo I know what you mean! Check community college course listings - that's the only place I've ever seen classes.

  2. I agree! There are so many vintage chairs with awesome "bones," just waiting to be recovered! Great idea katiekathleen about community college classes. I'd totally be up for something like that!
