summer sewing shirt




I posted about sewing up this summer shirt a few months ago, but never got around to posting the final product.  Apart from various defects that I could list off and point out, I'm pretty happy with the end result.  I learned a lot while making it, and it is the first garment I've made that I actually wear without it being so obviously hand made.

Sometimes, I belt it up with this skinny hot pink Jcrew number...

    i am so impressed! it's adorable!

    i honestly don't even know how to use a sewing machine. kiwi is in charge of all the mending in our house :)
